Shore Fertilizer Company

For some reason, I'm drawn to old, abandoned, dilapidated buildings. While driving through my Dad's Florida hometown, I noticed this structure that spanned an entire city block.  I found out that it was originally the Shore Fertilizer Company, established in 1923.  I'm sure my Dad and his friends hung out here when they were kids, as it's located next to a railroad track. And what kid doesn't like to play on a railroad track?  I love the textures, lines and colors of this building.

Wine, Women, and a Camera

Last night turned into a fun, crazy photo shoot of my niece while she and my sister visited me in Tampa . . .

My niece had always wanted photos taken of her, so we went for it. Now keep in mind, these are done outside of a studio, without lighting effects and totally untouched, but we were thrilled with the beautiful results.

She's on fire!
